School Meals
Improving students
well-being with
school lunches.
This project aims to tackle the declining participation in school meals in Finland, particularly in Espoo. Despite being a free service that supports student well-being, participation in school meals has been decreasing, especially among girls.
This project uses service design techniques to explore the reasons behind the decline and seeks to find creative, student-driven solutions. By conducting pilot experiments in a few schools, the initiative aims to improve the dining experience, food quality, and sustainability, contributing to both student well-being and environmental goals.
